Dogs and cameras.. two of my big passions. And it took me six years to put them together..

I’ve always been around dogs. I grew up with my aunties dog, Beano, a Border Terrier. At 16 I got my very own dog, Lucky, a German Shepard rescue from the RSPCA. Sadly, I only have a few bad quality phone pictures of Lucky to look back on. Now I have Murray, an Alaskan Malamute. I’m determined not to make the same mistakes this time around so I have plenty of beautifully printed pictures of him on my walls.

I got my first camera with the intention of photographing my travels. I would often use Murray as the subject in my photos. It wasn’t until I started photographing other peoples dogs and seeing their happy reactions that I thought, maybe I could do this all the time…

And so I came up with the innovative name, “Ally’s Pet Photography”, made a website, bought a new camera bag and now I’m ready to join you on a walk to photograph your pooch!
